LAST NIGHT.....

so yall last night i was bored out of my mind and spent so time doing what i love.....make-up! it was so fun! i simulated a jessica rabbit look...with a beautifully simple made up face and red lips and the added bang swoop over one eye....classic and sexy jessica rabbit face! then i started to change the look a bit and go a bit more dramatic adding more lashes, deeper liner (eye and lip). so i used my great mac concealer in nc50 and added some of my px custom blend powder to my face, the very pretty red cult of cherry lipglass from cult of cherry collection by mac and red enriched lip pencil. upper ares of my face called for my brows to be filled in by spiked brow pencil (mac) and flip eyeshadow as a highlight (blonde, brunette, redhead collection by mac). so as my night proceeds my look gradually changes from the simple cat eye liner, lashes and red lips to darker red lips lined with alittle bit of currant and velvetella lip pencil and lashes on top and bottom. so please feel free to post comments and let me know what you think!

FIDM: DEBUT RUNWAY SHOW 2009

hey everyone,

today was a good day! i helped out at the FIDM debut runway show 2009 and i had an amazing time! i did my one of my favorite things....LASHES!!! lol the students and staff took part in getting lashes applied and it was sooo much fun! thanks to the wonderful make-up artist Leibi, i was able to partake in a very exciting event for me and the people i was fortunate to serve today. FIDM...you rock!! i also got the pleasure of meeting project runway's NICK VERREOS....WITH HIS FINE SELF! LOL

so feb.7th i had a party to bartend for and the theme was 1960's. the party was for my brother's father-in-law and it was so much fun. for the most part all the guest were dressed in there 1960's apparel and we had groovy music and plenty of alcohol! lol i had to do something to my face so the hippies were very nature people and i tried to master my 1960's look as natural as possible. so here is the look. of course, let me know what you think!

THE OTHER DAY......

i posted about the slow speed car chase in north hollywood where the news said it was dj khaled. well it turns out that it wasn't dj khaled (thank heavens) but it was a man of the same decent who was an ex-Chicagoan business man that recently moved to l.a. to be with his girlfriend. his name was mustafa "moe" mustafa and he operated an "exotic car" rental business. the girlfriend and him got into a incident where he struck her. also, i heard that his business wasnt doing well anymore so thats apart of the reason he shot and killed himself tuesday morning. the economy is so fucked up now people are doing so crazy and bizarre stuff. it seems more so now that you have to be strong and do your best because in the society and economy we live in now, anything can and will happen. my prayers are with the family of this young man who took his life.

well im sure we all have heard about chris brown and rihanna's little altercation saturday night/ sunday morning and now we have dj khaled's high speed chase in north hollywood! what is going on people?! the chris brown news shocked me and i was thinking that the bentley high speed chase was him but it turns out to be dj khaled....whom i love very much! i dont know what is going on any more. i guess it goes to show you that you can have all the money in the world and still not be happy or just still have problems/ troubles that just wont go away. biggie said it best..."It's like the more money we come across, The more problems we see." let's get it together people!!
